FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
THE QUESTIONS
CLIENTS ACTUALLY
ASK US
These are the questions that come up most often in first conversations – about process, timelines, cost, SEO, AI visibility and technology. If yours is not here, just write to us; we normally reply within one working day.
Working Together
How does a project with you work?
We start with a free first conversation to work out what you are trying to achieve. You then get a written proposal listing the work, the timeline and the price. Once you approve it we move through concept, design, build and launch, with a review round at each of those points. You never see the result only at the end.
How long does a new website take?
A straightforward company website usually takes four to six weeks. Larger projects with many subpages, several languages or online appointment booking take eight to twelve weeks. The most common cause of delay is missing text and photos, so providing those early makes a real difference.
Do you work outside Vienna?
Yes. We are based in Vienna’s 7th district and work with clients across Austria and the German-speaking region. Most of the collaboration happens online; for photo shoots, video days and workshops we come to you.
What languages do you work in?
German, English and Turkish. We also build and maintain multilingual websites, for example for medical practices with international patients or restaurants that want to reach visitors to the city.
SEO & AI Visibility (GEO)
What is GEO and how is it different from SEO?
SEO gets your website high in Google results. GEO stands for generative engine optimization and makes sure AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity know your business, describe it correctly and name it when somebody asks for a recommendation.
The difference matters in practice: a results page shows ten links, while an AI answer often names two or three businesses. We work on both together, because the same foundations – clear structure, structured data, trustworthy sources – serve both systems.
How long does SEO take to work?
You usually see first movement after two to three months and a noticeable change in enquiries after four to six. Highly competitive terms take longer. That is why we work in seven-month cycles: short enough that you are not tied in for a year, long enough for the work to take hold.
Nobody can honestly promise a specific position by a specific date. Anyone who does is guessing.
Can you guarantee first place on Google?
No, and nobody credibly can. Google changes its algorithm constantly and nobody controls what your competitors do. What we do commit to is work you can follow, monthly reports with real numbers, and telling you plainly when a goal is unrealistic.
What does the visibility check cost?
Nothing. You enter your domain and see how your website stands with Google and with AI systems. No sign-up, no cookies, and we read only publicly available data. If you want the detailed report, write to us.
Is SEO worth it if my website is brand new?
Yes, and the best moment is during the build. Structure, loading speed, structured data and how the text is organised can be done properly at no extra cost while building, and only with effort afterwards. That is exactly why we design visibility in from the first sketch.
Pricing & Contract
What does a website cost?
It depends on scope: number of pages, languages, and whether online booking, a shop or original photography are involved. That is why we do not publish flat prices. You get a written proposal after the free first conversation, with the work clearly itemised and no surprises later.
How is the SEO and GEO service structured?
As a monthly service with a seven-month minimum term, and the first month is free. You pay from month two onwards, so you can see how we work before paying anything. It covers ongoing optimization, content, local search, AI visibility and a monthly report.
What happens after the seven months?
You decide. The service continues month to month if you want it to, or it ends. Everything we built – website, content, listings, structured data – belongs to you and stays in place.
Who owns the website in the end?
You do. You get every login, the domain is registered to you, and the site sits on your hosting. We build on WordPress so you are not tied to us: you can change text and images yourself, and we will walk you through it in a short training session if you want.
Technology & Maintenance
Why WordPress rather than a website builder?
Because it keeps you independent. WordPress runs on any hosting, extends in any direction, and any other agency can pick it up and carry on. Closed builder platforms offer neither, and they give us far less access to the technical groundwork that search engines and AI systems rely on.
Do you maintain the website after launch?
If you want us to, yes. That covers WordPress and plugin updates, backups, smaller changes and checking that everything still runs. Without a maintenance agreement we hand the site over completely and upkeep is yours.
Can you work on an existing website?
Yes. A good part of our work is SEO and GEO on sites somebody else built. We need access to the system for that; where that is not possible we work on everything outside the website: Google Business Profile, directories, reviews and AI visibility.
Do you work with medical practices and Austrian advertising rules?
Yes, several of our clients are Viennese medical practices. We know the limits set by the Ärztegesetz and the advertising guidelines of the Austrian Medical Chamber, and we build websites and social media that inform without tipping into prohibited advertising. Final legal responsibility rests with you, and we clear any borderline wording with you in advance.
